Featured Creator of the Week: Beth McKenna

On August 2, 2025 by Nel Parker

Article by Nel Parker.

(August 1st, 2025) —

Everyone’s favorite “MILF/GILF at law”, the extraordinary Beth McKenna, is a trailblazer in both law and porn. Having practiced law for over thirty years before diving into the adult entertainment industry, Beth is an inspiration to anyone who wants to explore themselves sexually but thinks they might be “too late in life” to open up their mind in embracing their sexuality or becoming a pornstar. Beth started her journey working in adult entertainment at 52 years old, and has since become a smashing success in the industry while reclaiming her own sexuality.

McKenna has created and starred in a hefty amount of content, a plentiful selection including over 200 videos on her clip sites and over 600 videos on her fan sites. You can see stunning teases of her content on her Twitter/X profile, @BethMcKenna53. Beth has collaborated with greats, from her recent adventures with Leilani Lei and Savvy G, to Syren DeMer; she even has an entire series of submissive content with the likes of Daddy An Li and Mistress Charlotte Lashes respectively, to name just a few of her collaborations. If you are another performer and want to go for a roll in they hay with Beth on camera, or are interested in having her craft a custom video for you, both forms are available on her site.

A longtime vocal advocate for human rights, Beth McKenna is heavily involved in advocacy in adult entertainment, and is worth the follow whether you work in the adult industry or are simply a fan of MILFs. Having already made a name for herself in her tenure as a pornstar thus far, we look forward to seeing what advancements Beth has in store for both her personal career as a performer, and the changes she will surely make in the porn industry as an advocate and leader.

Beth has an incredible interactive site that gives you easy access to her content; find more of Beth McKenna on her personal site, BethMcKennaxxx.com, and read the article below to get to know the charming Mrs. McKenna a little more intimately.

1. How and when did you get started in the adult entertainment industry?

I started in May, 2019, thanks to a female performer named Jay Taylor (@RealJayTaylorXx). I had only started watching porn in 2017 when I turned 50, basically due to my high sex drive and needing more than I was getting at home. As time passed, I started thinking about what fun it could be to shoot porn, what an athletic endeavor it can sometimes be, etc.

So I had been on Twitter, starting to follow the stars I liked, interacting occasionally, being respectful. One day Jay tweeted that she was looking for “fresh meat,” meaning new performers wanting to give it a shot. I raised my hand in the comments, and she basically dared me to set a date and go to LA. So I did. Of course I tested, and booked a week in LA. During that week, I had a photo shoot with Dean Capture (@DeanCapture) on day 1, a girl/girl shoot with Jay Taylor, and she had asked if I wanted to shoot with a guy while there, and I’d said yes. So that same day I did a boy/girl/girl with Jay Taylor and Jay Crew (@JayCrew57). And my two questions, can I do this, and do I enjoy it, were both answered with emphatic yeses.

I also booked a session with a reputable Domme in LA, as I had also wanted to explore the BDSM side of things. That Domme was Daddy An Li (@Daddy_AnLi) and she was amazing. So that was my first week in porn. I also was able to have lunch or dinner with a couple of other performers who had become interested in my story (from lawyer practicing over 30 years to porn).

2. What advice would you give to yourself when you were new, if you could send your past self a message with the knowledge you have now?

Oh gosh, that’s a tough one. I think the main thing would be to not be so hard on myself about my body, my looks. There are so many different, beautiful bodies in porn, and in life, and there is no reason to feel insecure about mine. My body wasn’t where I would have liked it to be, but honestly in the 6 years since, my body has rarely been where I would have liked. And it hasn’t held me back at all. Be confident, but not overly confident, and walk onto set knowing you respect yourself and have something interesting and different to offer.

3. Who inspired you when you first started, if anyone, and who inspires you now – or who is someone you would maybe like to work with in the future? What attracts you to them?

There were several performers I admired early on, and wanted to emulate to an extent. I fell in love with the work of Sinn Sage, and her scenes with Lilly Lebeau. I also loved what Dani Daniels was doing, and she seemed to have great ideas about marketing and expanding her reach outside of traditional porn shoots.

And Jay Taylor is the one who gave me that first chance, and I will never forget that or stop thanking her. Dee Williams and Syren DeMer are also current inspirations. I’ve met them and shot with them, but how they handle their business, the work they do, the long-lasting careers, are amazing. I continue to learn from others every day.

4. What has been your favorite scene, shoot, show, or event of your career, and what made it so memorable?

That’s a really hard one. I’ve done so many scenes that I really love, and the thing I take pride in is that my scenes are real. I don’t fake the enjoyment or the orgasms. But I would say that my favorite scenes are the BDSM ones, one in particular for Whipped Ass, which is part of Kink.com. I got to work with Lotus Lain (@itsLotusLain), and Fivestar (@iamfivestar) directed it. What an amazing day! They are both amazing people and have become dear friends.

5. Given this line of work can sometimes blur the lines between personal and professional life, how do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?

That is probably honestly easier for me than for many performers, because I do not live in a porn hotbed. I live in Mississippi, so I have to travel to shoot with others. So when I travel to shoot porn, that’s work (it’s fun work, but it’s work), and when I’m home things are relaxed. My wife (@OliviaLowenxxx) and I do shoot, and we have a good friend here that also shoots (@IvyxxxBlake), so we do shoot some here, but most of my scenes are the result of travel somewhere else.

Even when at home, there is still much work to do behind the scenes, the stuff fans don’t usually think of. There is editing, posting videos on the various sites, being present on social media, interacting with fans, etc. Just trying to stay organized is almost a full time job in itself. But my wife has a vanilla job here and I stop my work when she gets home each day. That way we can spend the evenings together with our fur babies.

6. How has being in the adult entertainment industry shaped your perspective on relationships, intimacy, and personal boundaries?

Being in this industry has altered my life in so many positive ways. My wife and I are “ethically non-monogamous” as to porn. We have learned to respect each other more because of that, and to cherish each other more. Boundaries are also a huge thing that porn has helped develop and enforce. The lovely thing about BDSM scenes is that things are negotiated and discussed before the shooting starts, as to what I do or don’t do, what I like, don’t like, what they like or don’t like, etc. And those boundaries are respected. And that has taught me that it’s perfectly fine to set boundaries in other areas of life as well.

But the biggest thing to me is that because our friends know we shoot porn, the conversations about sex, intimacy, relationships, etc. have really opened up. We can talk with our friends, and they with us, about literally anything. And I’ve seen this improve the relationships of my friends as well. This industry can be so rewarding in so many unpredictable ways.

7. What makes you smile on a daily basis – whether a side hobby/project, an important place, or a familiar face in your life?

Things that make me smile: my wife first of all. I love everything about her. We went to see Superman in 3D this past weekend, and I found her profile so sexy even with the 3D glasses on. Our fur babies also contribute massively to my happiness and laughter. We have 2 dogs, and now 6 cats (we just got a new kitten a few weeks ago so our life is full). They are all interactive and go where we go within the house. So we are always engaged with them in some way. We also just got back from a vacation to Glacier National Park, which is my favorite place in the world (that I’ve been). It gives me such peace to see the vastness of the mountains, and shows us how small we really are.

8. What are your career goals for the next 2-5 years?

I’d love to keep shooting, staying in front of the camera, but I also would love to get more into the production side of things as well. The adult movie sets I’ve been on I’ve found so fascinating. I just watched and learned how things are done, better ways, best ways to do things, what not to do, etc. But I figure I will be involved in the adult industry in some capacity for the rest of my life. I feel that strongly that porn is a wonderful place to be if you handle your career and yourself properly. Mental health is key, but I love what I do and don’t want to stop any time soon.

9. Do you have any exciting news or plans in the coming months for folks to look forward to?

I’ve got a couple of things coming up. I’ll be going in September to a production house for a long weekend of shooting multiple scenes with some pretty fantastic performers. And then I will be in New Jersey in October for Exxxotica, and hopefully in D.C. in December. And I will also be in Dallas in December for the Southern Pleasure Expo. I can’t wait to meet and shoot with new (to me) performers, and to meet fans.

10. What do you hope is “your legacy,” or the thing(s) you are best known for in the adult entertainment industry?

I joke that I approach porn much like someone running for office, in that I have a “platform” and many “planks” that I support. The main plank for me is the empowerment of women. I want to show women that at any age, you can be as sexual, or not, as you personally want to be. YOU are in charge of your own body, what you do, who with, etc. Consent is another plank that I talk about a lot, because we speak carefully about consent within a porn set, but in real life things are not quite so easy. I want to get that message out to both men and women that consent is key. Ask her! It’s sexy to ask if you ask it right.

The other thing I emphasize literally on every shoot that involves penetration is LUBE. Lube is your friend, to both men and women. That sex is so much more enjoyable when you have enough lubrication. And I try to educate that just because a woman is “wet” doesn’t mean she’s truly ready and needs no lube. And I try to educate the men that taking the time to stimulate your female partner is something that benefits you both. I make a point of using lube ON CAMERA in every shoot where I am penetrated. Every shoot. I want to normalize it.

And the final thing is toys. Toys are teammates, not competitors. Some people can be intimidated by the use of toys, but view that toy as a teammate and not as an indication that you are inadequate, not doing it right, whatever. So female empowerment, consent, lube, and toys are my big things.
