Not only does she star in both major porn studio scenes and self-produced porn, she also has her own magazine publication, Erotic Sky Magazine. “Erotic Sky Magazine redefines the inappropriate with a modern take on sensual erotic fetish.” Erotic Sky Mag uses the term Erotic Empress for their featured models, a charming, powerful, and accurate representation of the stars & models featured in Erotic Sky Magazine, which recently released it’s 10th issue. And as if all of these accomplishments and career milestones weren’t enough, Lyric Sky is co-owner of ESM Exclusive Management, the adult industry management company owned and run by her and her business partner Cary (@SalaciousPerceptions).

1. How and when did you get started in the adult entertainment industry?
I officially entered the adult industry in 2018. My introduction came when I attended the 2018 Urban X Awards in August as a date, where I had the opportunity to meet Richard Mann. That encounter opened the door for me, and by October of that year, I filmed my first professional adult scene. Since then, I’ve grown into a multi–award-winning pornstar, owning an award-winning magazine and representing a roster of talented clients through my management company—whom have also gone on to win industry awards.
2. What advice would you give to yourself when you were new, if you could send your past self a message with the knowledge you have now?
If I could give younger Lyric Sky some advice, it would be to stay consistent and stay true to your dreams and your unique journey. Everyone’s path is different, so don’t feel pressured to compare yourself or rush the process—trust in your timing.
3. Who inspired you when you first started, if anyone, and who inspires you now – or who is someone you would maybe like to work with in the future? What attracts you to them?
When I first started out, I didn’t know much about the industry, but two of the legends who inspired me—and in whom I saw a reflection of myself—were Candace Von and Nyomi Banks. Looking ahead, someone I’d love to collaborate with is Nicole Kitt. I really admire her journey and the way she’s built her career. We’re both small-town girls from Oklahoma who’ve made our mark and gained recognition in this space, and I think that shared background would create incredible chemistry on screen. Our skin tones, our energy—I just know it would be a hot, unforgettable scene.
4. What has been your favorite scene, shoot, show, or event of your career, and what made it so memorable?
One of the most memorable shoots of my career has to be my first mainstream scene with Brazzers. It came four years into my independent journey, and getting recognized and booked on my own was a huge milestone. It was a clear sign that all the hard work I’d been putting in was paying off.
5. Given this line of work can sometimes blur the lines between personal and professional life, how do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
To maintain a healthy work-life balance, I always travel with my little dog, Braxton—having him with me makes anywhere feel like home. I’m also incredibly fortunate to share this journey in the industry with my partner and boyfriend, Dreads Way, who is also a fellow creator. Together, we’ve found a rhythm that blends personal and professional life, allowing us to stay grounded, connected, and creative no matter where the road takes us.
6. How has being in the adult entertainment industry shaped your perspective on relationships, intimacy, and personal boundaries?
Being part of the adult entertainment industry has significantly influenced my views on relationships, intimacy, and personal boundaries. It’s made me realize that many people outside of our industry often lack awareness and understanding when it comes to sexual health and communication. Contrary to common assumptions, my partner and I—both performers—share a deeper level of openness, trust, and emotional security. Our connection is built on honesty and mutual respect, which has allowed us to cultivate a bond and understanding that, in many ways, feels stronger than what is typically seen in conventional relationships.
7. What makes you smile on a daily basis – whether a side hobby/project, an important place, or a familiar face in your life?
To keep a smile on my face each day, I fill my work and personal life with things I genuinely enjoy. My business partner and best friend, Cary, helps keep me grounded—we talk throughout the day, every day. I also stay connected with my partner, Dreads Way, who brings balance to my life. I truly enjoy great food and a good glass of bourbon.
8. What are your career goals for the next 2-5 years?
Over the next 2–5 years, my career goals are to continue expanding my brand, Erotic Sky Magazine, and establish it as a household name. I aim to build strong, diverse teams that empower and provide a platform for women of all sizes, shapes, and ethnicities. I also plan to continue shooting as Lyric Sky to further solidify my name and presence in the industry. In addition, I’m committed to growing ESM Exclusive MGMT alongside my business partner, Salacious Perceptions (Cary), to share the insight, experience, and knowledge we’ve gained over the past seven years in the industry—helping others navigate and succeed in this space.
9. Do you have any exciting news or plans in the coming months for folks to look forward to?
Big things are coming over the next few months! Look out for brand-new video releases dropping soon on my website, Lyricskyxx.com. I’m also excited to announce that Erotic Sky Magazine will be sponsoring the Urban X Lingerie Party on August 15 in Los Angeles, part of the Urban X Awards Weekend. Plus, we’re honored to have 13 nominations this year for ESM Exclusive Clients— it’s going to be an unforgettable weekend!
10. What do you hope is “your legacy,” or the thing(s) you are best known for in the adult entertainment industry?
I hope to be remembered for my unwavering professionalism and, importantly, for being a true advocate for women in our industry. I want to break the mold around body image standards and challenge outdated ideas about how women should look, speak, and behave. My goal is to be a pioneer who not only represents women authentically but also uplifts and empowers them. Ultimately, I want my legacy to be legendary and iconic — someone who changed the conversation and made a real difference.
