When did you start creating adult content?
I started a NSFW twitter account shortly after turning 18, and some weeks later I also began to sell pictures and clips. It was a messy and short-lived experience that came to an end six months or so later, but I also had fun while it lasted. At 20 years old, I felt the call to start again, this time with a more mature, conscious and methodical approach: so on the 25th of December 2020 (yes, Christmas day), I uploaded my first video on ManyVids, baptizing myself as Mitchell Cummings. This year it will be my fifth anniversary.
What was your first experience like when sharing your creative side with the world through adult art?
It was strangely rewarding. I say this because I never saw myself as an exhibitionist, I’m rather a lowkey kind of person in my everyday life. Making adult content and sharing it with the world fired a new kind of thrill I never had experienced before.
What’s the main thing you focus on when working on a project?
To be as pretty and as hot as possible. Joking apart, I do focus a lot on visuals, but I also try to create an intimate and genuine, almost cozy, vibe; especially when creating custom content.
How would you describe your journey as an independent content creator?
Rough. It is not easy to work in this industry, especially in these current times and as a trans male, and being masked on top of everything else. I was always alone and had to do everything on my own, from scratch. I am my own agent, director, editor, social media manager and main star. There were most days where I felt like giving up all together, since I couldn’t see the fruits of my labour. I thought my work was just a drop in an ocean of more talented, more sensual, more popular artists. What difference could I make? But, as much as I tried to bury my passion for this work, I cannot stop myself from expressing myself through this art. So yes, my journey has been rough, but extremely vital as a channel to my creativity too.
You have over eighty videos available on ManyVids, and you also share some previews and naughty things through PornHub. What inspires you to be so creative and active in your craft?
I enjoy exploring my sexuality and to always try new things, both on my own or through requests I get. I also weekly browse adult spaces on social media, to see what’s up.
The topics you’ve worked with range from solo masturbation to foot fetish, costumes and role play. How do you come up with the concepts you portray in your videos?
I just find myself doing mundane things when something pops up into my head and I think “Oh, that could be hot”. I have explored so many fantasies and fetishes, I used to have a huge “porn ideas” note on my phone where I kept a list of potential content I could make. Nowadays, I’m less active due to how I balance my life (I also have another job and I’m a college student). But the list was still full when I last checked, I should try and recover it…
In your opinion, what do you think is the most important element to consider when it comes to effectively depicting a fantasy?
Credibility, that’s what I strike for when creating a fantasy themed video. My goal is to blur the lines between reality and fiction to the point of making the viewer question themselves, “Is this actually happening?”
Of course I might not always achieve that, keeping in mind I’m not a trained actor and do not dispose of professional settings and stages. One day, maybe…
Out of all the videos you’ve created, which is the one you cherish the most?
On top of my head, I would say my “Husband Fantasy” series: they were requested by a very affectionate client, and I put a lot of effort and love into bringing them to life. Mostly because being a trophy husband has always been a dream (I haven’t given up on it yet) of mine, haha. I guess there is always a seed of reality in our fantasies.
What’s your ultimate dream as an adult content creator?
I never dreamt of fame in this industry, I don’t think I could even handle it. My dream has always been to sustain myself through this craft, in order to keep working on it. Most of what I made with adult content during the years, I spent on equipment, outfits, toys, etc. It is in the middle of a hobby and a part-time job, right now. What I’d like to do in the future is to keep this steady course and keep on exploring with and through my sexuality. I’d also like to find or form a community in my area/country, to share experiences, struggles and joys with.
