1. How and when did you get started in the adult entertainment industry?
I got started in the adult entertainment industry as an art & fashion model, turned recruiter, turned male talent. My primary goal had been to operate as an effective talent advocate. I found that physically being on set helped give me the highest edge in ensuring a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
2. What advice would you give to yourself when you were new, if you could send your past self a message from the future?
Keep going, and if she tells you she’s crazy, take her word for it. It’s not as endearing as it sounds.
3. Who inspired you when you first started, if anyone, and who inspires you now or is a person you would maybe like to work with in the future? What attracted or attracts you to them?
I have always been an absolute fan of Evan Stone and the way he so seamlessly incorporates comedy into his roles.
I don’t necessarily need to work beside him, but I most certainly need to light up with him, the next chance I get.
4. What has been your favorite scene/shoot/show or event etc. of your career, and why?
I really loved this amazing fleshlight boy/girl scene I shot with Victoria Voxxx the past Spring. My wife & I flew her in from LA and shot it for our own productions in a really cool location. It’s on the AglaeaX Productions sites.
5. How do you know when you need a break, and what does “taking a break” from your usual daily activities mean for you?
I am a full-time performer & content creator. I don’t get a break. If I’m lucky, I’ll have two days off in a row. Otherwise, my break involves smoking a fat blunt on my patio and maybe getting a little bit of videogame time.
6. What’s your most-viewed comfort movie(s), and what are your usual snacks to go alongside? (Or if you’re not a movie person, your favorite other art medium of choice.)
Not a movie – my most viewed comfort show is easily “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Pair that with a bag of double butter Pop Secret popcorn and a sparkling water, and I’m off to zen-island.
7. What makes you smile on a daily basis – whether a side hobby/project, an important place, or a familiar face in your life? (If it’s your pet, you are required to provide a photo of your buddy!)
Whipping together a meal for the ones I love is arguably one of my greatest pleasures.
To be able to provide and nourish my family, with all my hard work (being male talent IS hard work) is one of the most gratifying things I can think of… and to accomplish that with a job that so many deem as devious or immoral only adds to the satisfaction.
8. Do you have any exciting news or plans in the coming months for folks to look forward to?
Hopefully I’m not going to look back at this and kick myself, but ideally within the coming months you’ll be seeing me direct for more companies. I’m planning on getting myself behind the camera more.
9. What are your career goals for the next 2-5 years?
I’m 36 now. I’m planning on primarily focusing on my own projects by the time I reach 40. Of course, I’ll be happy to direct for others, but by 40 I really want my focus to be on my own stuff, as well as my model mentorship program.
10. What do you hope is “your legacy” that you are known for in the adult entertainment industry?
I would like my legacy to be AglaeaModels. My wife & I built this agency to operate as a model mentorship that enables new models (and existing ones) to develop their brand, their platform, and their own connections so they can be self-sufficient independent models.
I would like to see the industry develop where models have less reliance on agencies, and a larger focus on utilizing connections made on set for personal content creation. I would love to see the industry evolve in such a way. More than anything, I want to see an industry where the models are the bosses – their own bosses.
