1. How and when did you get started in the adult entertainment industry?
2020, RIGHT before Covid shut everything down lol. I was living in Michigan working as a software developer and had a shitty boyfriend who kept cheating on me. I was already selling and posting on Reddit, found SexyJobs, and within 12 hours was in Florida with AMA Modeling. It all happened very fast. Like within 24 hours. I did not wake up the day I met Brian thinking “I’m going to be a pornstar now.” Every time I think back on that day it just feels more and more surreal, I woke up expecting a normal day and by 5pm I was booking a flight to start working in the adult industry.
2. What advice would you give to yourself when you were new, if you could send your past self a message from the future?
This is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. This is hard because there’s a lot I’d like to say. I think the biggest thing would just be that it’s gonna be some of the best and worst times of your life, but it’s so worth it. The last almost 5 years have been insane, but I wouldn’t change a single thing.
3. Who inspired you when you first started, if anyone, and who inspires you now or is a person you would maybe like to work with in the future? What attracted or attracts you to them?
I had zero plans on doing this so I cant really say anyone inspired me when I first started. It really was an insanely impulsive choice that I happened to end up loving. As for now, the small group of people I have in my life inspire me. Professionally, Alex Coal is so inspiring to me. She’s so positive and she’s such a good role model. I would love to work with her. Her energy is so welcoming and kind, the few times we’ve talked she’s been so supportive and helpful.
4. What has been your favorite scene/shoot/show or event etc. of your career, and why?
So it actually just happened at Urban X! I faced my absolute biggest fear which is getting in front of a crowd. And I did it sober, which is absolutely huge to me. And I had a ton of fun! I was doing the stinky foot contest (first ever, shoutout to @thelocaltalentpodcast) and I didn’t win, but anyone who follows me knows sobriety has been a long hard journey for me. So to do the thing I was most afraid of completely sober was like the biggest win in my career (and personal life) to date and I’ll remember it forever.
5. How do you know when you need a break, and what does “taking a break” from your usual daily activities mean for you?
Honestly I don’t know I need a break until my body completely crashes and I’m so burnt out I disappear from the internet for like a month. I’m learning to listen to my body more, not ignore basic needs, and self care. It’s been going wonderfully. The biggest game changer was just putting my phone down and doing something different for a little while when I get overwhelmed. I don’t push through that feeling anymore. I take an hour or two and crochet or read or go for a small walk.
6. What’s your most-viewed comfort movie(s), and what are your usual snacks to go alongside? (Or if you’re not a movie person, your favorite other art medium of choice.)
I am such a horror junkie it’s not even funny, That’s almost exclusively what I watch lol. But if I’m really looking for a comfort vibe, I watch ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ or I listen to music!
7. What makes you smile on a daily basis – whether a side hobby/project, an important place, or a familiar face in your life?
Right now, my partner. The amount of support and love I get from this person is so new to me and they never fail to make me smile, even in my worst moments. And my roommates cat, he is an absolute psycho kitten and he’s always getting into shenanigans, it’s impossible to not smile around this little guy.
8. Do you have any exciting news or plans in the coming months for folks to look forward to?
I’m getting back into camming! I just did my first show and had soooo much fun, I forgot how much I love doing it. Aside from that, you’ll just have to follow me on my socials because I tend to be very spontaneous and I don’t like planning too far ahead, I get overwhelmed and panic lol. I always have something new and exciting going on so definitely follow me if you want to keep up with that! (@thr0atg0dx on Twitter!)
9. What are your career goals for the next 2-5 years?
It’s funny because if you asked me this 5 years ago when I got into porn I would have given a totally different answer to where I am now. So I don’t know! And I kind of love that. Life is meant to lived in the moment.
10. What do you hope is “your legacy” that you are known for in the adult entertainment industry?
Oh this is such a hard question. I want people to not look at sex workers and just see damaged goods. I want other sex workers to know that just because you struggle with something, it doesn’t mean it has to define you. You define you. My actual legacy however will probably be the time I was a part of slut shoes or snorting cum and then watching that become a very mainstream thing lol. All of which I absolutely love, be proud of being a freak! Maybe that’s the “legacy” I want to leave behind, even if it’s just a few people it touches. Be yourself always and never apologize for it, all this fame and “clout” and bullshit doesn’t last forever. Make sure you stay true to you so when you leave this industry, you can be proud of yourself and what you did.
