(California) — A little while back, I asked the beautiful and talented “Camedian” herself, Camgirl Cass, if she would be interested in being featured on our site. She has evolved in many ways just in the time since she wrote this interview, from her hair style to her style of performing, but has remained the same resilient and talented character throughout the ups and downs our industry has seen recently. Cass is always changing and growing, and she is both a very silly person and a total sweetheart – it’s truly hard not to love her. How did you get into working in the adult industry? And how did you come up with staples of your brand like “Bad Fashion Fridays,” or some of the other incredibly fun themes you do?
I spent 42 years getting an education and climbing the corporate ladder. I considered myself to be a ‘good girl’ by ‘staying off the pole’ and doing exactly what was expected of me. But all that changed when my Employer told me to submit to an unlawful mandate or I would lose my fancy job/house/car and everything I had worked for. I said NO.
Looking back on it now, it’s so interesting to me how no matter how hard we try, we can’t escape who we truly are deep down inside.
I was always meant to be here in this Camgirl/performer role and it didn’t matter at what age or when I was going to ‘arrive’…my soul was going to get me there at some point.
BFF – Bad Fashion Fridays! Any themes I get up to usually come about through conversations during shows with members.
I love to play with the concept of doing the opposite of what’s expected of me or of a ‘sex worker’. So instead of dressing up super sexy…let’s dress ridiculously and try and get these clothes off with a few laughs. Joking around…laughing is definitely a huge turn on for me.
You juggle quite a few titles and responsibilities, from mother to cam star and comedian – how do you manage to handle everything at once? What do you do to take care of yourself in order to make sure that your needs are met, not just those of everyone else in your household?
Over the course of the past 3 years I’ve done a lot of soul searching which included working with a Shaman. Through the work with her, I began to implement different energy protecting rituals which really help keep me in tune with my expectations for myself and the world around me. Reflection is key, checking in with yourself and addressing emotions is important.
I don’t ever take on anything I can’t handle and I always ask myself: Does this decision/option empower you? If the answer is NO, I’m out!
Speaking of you being a mother, how the hell do you have such a rockin’ bod for being insanely busy with kids and a bustling & vibrant career? I see in your Snapchat stories oftentimes that you’re up around 4 or 5am (side note: Cass has one of the most entertaining Snapchats you can attain, she’s always posting and is incredibly funny and hot)! Is that the secret, get everything done early? And, given that you’re up so early, around what time do you wind down at night, and do you have a nighttime decompression routine?
Thank you! Your feedback is really appreciated… truly! I absolutely take pride in the Snapchat experience I have with members and models. It really gives everyone a taste of what I’m up to and my silly but sometimes sexy personality.
As far as 5am wake up calls… I’ve always been a morning person. It’s easy for me to get up and start working… sending out sexts… posting videos… connecting with members… checking in on models. It’s 7pm/8pm where I start to fall apart… I’m early to bed and early to rise. Meditation is the major tool I use for everything including a night time decompression routine. I really love ‘Reiki Rachel’ on YouTube!
You’ve worked with a variety of other performers recently, any fun stories you want to share with us from your experiences of camming or content creation with other models? Also, how do you choose who you want to work with, what do you look for in a good scene or cam partner?
I got a black eye with ExoticandThai (wow that rhymes). Choosing performers to work with has always been about a ‘vibe match’. Exotic and I found each other through twitter and the Cammy Awards last year. We added each other on Snap and began chatting/bantering and visiting each other’s rooms on MFC and tipping off our premium accounts.
The AVN’s were approaching so we decided to promote and host a Sexy Shower show for the fans from our hotel room. We were setting up….candles….oil….all the fireworks that make a GG show Hot as Hell…and I was opening my tripod and wacked myself in the eye literally 10 minutes before going live! We iced it (she took good care of me) and got on camera. When I looked at the replay – you can see my eye progressively getting blacker! But, the show must go on, as they say.
So you love to make people laugh, and you love to live life passionately and sensually, “on the edge,” if you will… other than jokes and masturbation, what gets your juices flowing? Creatively or literally, interpret that however you wish.
COLLABORATION! I’m a team player… I love working with other models. Bouncing our energy off of each other and coming up with creative ways to offer something new and exciting to the fans. Demi_Tatum is a wonderful MFC model that I talk to almost daily and we’re always finding new ways to collaborate and cross pollinate our cam rooms. I’m so grateful to her and all the models I’ve collaborated with so far. Truly they are the hardest working people in the Biz and I’m so proud of each of them.
Where do you see yourself in the next few years? I know that you have some big projects on the horizon; do you want to share a little with us about what we can expect from Camgirl Cass the Camedian over the coming months?
There’s a super cool project I’m currently working on and it’s a pilot for a TV show! It’s about a guy who ends up in Masturbator’s Anonymous for doing something in public that he shouldn’t be doing and I’m playing the Psychotherapist.
