The documentary speaks with the former University of Wisconsin-La Crosse chancellor and tenured professor Joe Gow, and his wife Carmen Wilson, aka the Sexy Happy Couple on OnlyFans, Pornhub, and their YouTube Channel.
Gow gained nationwide fame for fighting for his job after being fired after being outted as an adult performer. His story went nationwide, and so did photos and videos of adult actress Lauren Phillips, which were shared online and in print around the world. “My grandmother found out that I work in adult—she was the one person I really tried to shield from this. My parents always knew, and I wasn’t so concerned about my other relatives. Since the cat is out of the bag, I want to tell how all this affected me too,” continues Phillips.
